Clara Callender, seven times a champion at Del Monte and Pebble Beach golf tournaments, follows through on her swing while playing the 6th hole at Pebble Beach Golf Links. This photograph of Callendar at play under one of stunning skyscapes typical of the Pebble Beach area was taken in 1934 by world-famous photographer Julian P. Graham*. * Julian P. Graham's (1886-1963) camera shop and dark room was situated across from the entryway to The Lodge for many years. As the official photographer for Del Monte Properties (now the Pebble Beach Company) from 1924 to 1963, his access to photograph people, places and things in and around Pebble Beach was unequalled.
