Through The Cypress by Pebble Beach Heritage Collection
Monterey Cypress trees, which can live to be 300 years old, are indigenous to only two small areas on earth. The first is here in Pebble Beach along 17-Mile Drive and the second at Point Lobos, a few miles south. This dramatic image of the Pebble Beach coastline through the wind-shaped Monterey trees was taken in 1926 by world-famous photographer Julian P. Graham*. Available exclusively from the Pebble Beach Company as a fine giclee print on acid-free watercolor paper 16" x 20" matted; framed images are also available 25" x 31" by special order. Please call 831.622.6538 for more information.
* Julian P. Graham's (1886-1963) camera shop and dark room was situated across from the entryway to The Lodge for many years. As the official photographer for Del Monte Properties (now the Pebble Beach Company) from 1924 to 1963, his access to photograph people, places and things in and around Pebble Beach was unequalled.
